Selection Criteria

  1. Experience, knowledge and/or understanding of issues related to disability and employment; or ability to quickly acquire such knowledge and understanding

  2. Knowledge of services, issues and legislation relating to employment services, occupational health and safety, equal employment opportunity, industrial relations, affirmative action, disability and disability discrimination, and cultural and linguistical diversity; or ability to acquire such knowledge

  3. Liaison, negotiation and marketing skills; or ability to quickly develop such skills

  4. Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a small team

  5. Spoken communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to relate to a wide range of people

  6. Ability to get access to a wide range of work sites and perform a wide range of simple work tasks

  7. A current Victorian driver's licence

  8. Tertiary qualification in disability, human resources management, training, industrial relations, social welfare, rehabilitation or related fields

  9. Ability to communicate in languages other than English, including and especially Auslan
