Disability Employment Consultant, known as "Employment Coordinator"

Selection Criteria

  1. Experience, knowledge and/or understanding of issues related to disability and employment; or ability to quickly acquire such knowledge and understanding

  2. Liaison and negotiating skills; or ability to quickly develop such skills

  3. Personal attributes of initiative, perspicacity, common sense and computer skills

  4. Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a small team

  5. Spoken communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to relate to a wide range of people

  6. Ability to get access to a wide range of work sites and perform a wide range of simple work tasks

  7. A current Victorian driver's licence

  8. Tertiary qualification and/or exerience in disability, human resources management, training, industrial relations, social welfare, rehabilitation or related fields

  9. Ability to communicate in languages other than English, including and especially Auslan
